Passive Fully Floating Emulator of Memristive Device for Laboratory Experiments
نویسندگان
چکیده
A simple emulator of memristive system, containing only passive electronic components, namely resistors, capacitor, and no-DC biased transistor is described. Unlike other hitherto published emulators it does not exploit DC power supply. Moreover, it provides effective emulation of grounded as well as floating memristive systems. The circuit idea enables interesting experiments, demonstrating the well-known fingerprints of memristive systems such as the pinched v-i hysteresis loops. Key-Words: Memristive system, passive system, floating two-terminal element, pinched hysteresis loop.

Simple Floating Voltage-Controlled Memductor Emulator for Analog Applications
The topic of memristive circuits is a novel topic in circuit theory that has become of great importance due to its unique behavior which is useful in different applications. But since there is a lack of memristor samples, a memristor emulator is used instead of a solid state memristor. In this paper, a new simple floating voltage-controlled memductor emulator is introduced which is implemented ...
متن کاملEmulation of floating memcapacitors and meminductors using current conveyors
We suggest circuit realizations of emulators transforming memristive devices into effective floating memcapacitive and meminductive systems. The emulator’s circuits are based on second generation current conveyors and involve either four single-output or two dual-output current conveyors. The equations governing the resulting memcapactive and meminductive systems are presented.

Frequency generators are widely used in electronics. Here, we report the design and experimental realization of a memristive frequency generator employing a unique combination of only digital logic gates, a single-supply voltage and a realistic thresholdtype memristive device. In our circuit, the oscillator frequency and duty cycle are defined by the switching characteristics of the memristive ...

Neuromorphic circuits mimic partial functionalities of brain in a bio-inspired information processing sense in order to achieve similar efficiencies as biological systems. While there are common mathematical models for neurons, which can be realized as nonlinear oscillating circuits, an electrical representation of the synaptic coupling between those is more challenging. Since this coupling str...
متن کاملCoexisting Behaviors of Asymmetric Attractors in Hyperbolic-Type Memristor based Hopfield Neural Network
A new hyperbolic-type memristor emulator is presented and its frequency-dependent pinched hysteresis loops are analyzed by numerical simulations and confirmed by hardware experiments. Based on the emulator, a novel hyperbolic-type memristor based 3-neuron Hopfield neural network (HNN) is proposed, which is achieved through substituting one coupling-connection weight with a memristive synaptic w...
